Hi. After doing nothing for a dozen years to a 66 Monte Carlo 850 that I bought in 2002, I have finally decided to get to it. The previous owner is very glad to see it being restored, and I promised to set up a website so he could watch the work progress. I thought a website would be a great way of documenting and keeping a log of my work as it progresses, and then it occurred to me that a blog might be just the thing for that, plus it would give me a way to share my efforts with others, and a way to get advice from those more knowledgeable than my self. Please be aware that this is not a “How To” blog and any techniques documented here are to be used at your own risk. Please read the Warning/Disclaimer page for more information.
Now I know I’ll be lucky if I get even one person beyond the previous owner to care about this blog, but if you are that person, please subscribe for email notifications when I make a new post. My posts will be rather infrequent, and by subscribing, you will be notified when anything new is posed. In other words, you’ll get occasional reminders about that boring MC850 blog that you had forgotten about.
There is no need to register to post comments, however, your very first post will go into a moderation queue. Once your first post is approved, additional posts will not be moderated. Please note however, if you put more than one link in a comment, it will go into the moderation queue. I do not have any formal rules, but please use good judgement. I reserve the right to remove any posts I deem inappropriate.
Well, please wish me luck, and don’t hesitate to criticize any of my work. I’ve never done this before, and I will make a lot of mistakes.
